Joe's Birthday!

Joe just celebrated his 32nd birthday on July 26th. Since it was a Sunday, we just had some family over for some dessert. My brother Steve and his wife Angie made some homemade icecream, my mom brought homemade caramel corn, and I made the birthday cake. My sister Janine was also in town for her 30th highschool reunion. Yes, that's right, her 30th highschool reunion! Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of her.

Having just moved and been real busy with unpacking, we didn't celebrate a whole lot, but I think Joe enjoyed HIS day!

Fourth of July

We had a total "rockin" (Madison's new fav word) Fourth of July. We headed to my brother's pool, equipped with rock water falls, a tube slide, a beach entry "kiddie" area, and jacuzzi! The weather was perfect and the BBQ was amazing! There is nothing better than hanging out with family! After good food, family and friends we headed down to the local fireworks show. I wasn't sure how Tori would do with the loud noises and staying up so late (she is usually fast asleep before 7:30 p.m.), but she did great! She loved it!

Ashley is now our "dare devil"! She couldn't get enough of jumping off the top water fall. I think she did this maybe a hundred times before the end of the day.

Now that we are moving up to Buellton, we can take advantage of the pool more often. My sister-n-law, Angie, has pool day at her home every week throughout the summer. I can't wait! I will send out an email later with our new address/info!

Ashley's Ballet Performance

Ashley had her FIRST ballet/tap performance last month! She was so excited she couldn't contain herself.

TEN year Wedding Anniversary/Madison's Kindergarten Graduation and Ballet Performance

We have had one BUSY week with our TEN year wedding anniversary, Madison's last week of school and graduation, ballet rehearsals and finally the performance!

Sometimes it is hard for me to believe that over ten years ago I married my best friend. Where has the time gone? Dental school, kids, life, I guess!!! I always get major flack for saying this, but it's true. Eternity truly isn't long enough when you get to spend it with Joe. I love him tons!!!

We weren't able to do anything really special, but we did manage to fit in dinner! We took this right before we dove into our filet's at AJ Spurs in Solvang!!! We hope sometime next year when I no longer have a nursing baby that we can get away and do something spectacular!
Madison's Kindergarten graduation! She has loved this year and is sooooooo sad it is over. Her teacher, Ms Sykes, was amazing and totally was an instrument in Madison's success.

After many ballet classes and rehearsals, Madison finally had her performance last night. As you can see from her bright orange costume, her ballet routine was "Fire Flutterbys". It was so cute!

Ashley has been taking ballet too and she performs next Saturday! We can't wait!

Tori is Eight Months Old

Yesterday, May 30th, Tori turned eight months old.  I can't believe how fast the time has gone by.  She is one amazing little girl!  She has her four teeth in now (mandibular and maxillary centrals), sits up by herself, is always jabbering, and always copies what you do (jumping up and down, peek-a-boo).

Brett and Amy's Wedding!

We went down to Newport Beach for Joe's brother Brett's wedding.  They were married in the Newport Beach Temple on May 21st.  It was such amazing event!  Amy looked absolutely stunning in her wedding gown.  She is one gorgeous girl and Brett is one lucky guy.  The first time I met Amy she totally impressed me with her wit and charm.  Not only was she beautiful, but she could hold her own with us Holbrooks and she pounded an entire Freebird's burrito.  That in itself is pretty unbelievable.  I told Brett he better not screw this up because if he did we were keeping Amy and he was out!!!

The following day after the wedding we went to Disneyland.  I know, BIG shocker, right?  It was really fun this time because all of Joe's brothers and his mom who were in town for the wedding were able to go with us.

Beautiful Amy and all the nieces and nephews.  My girls were attached to Amy's hip throughout the day.  They loved following her around and couldn't get enough of her gorgeous white "princess" dress as they called it.
So far, every Holbrook boy that has gotten married has worn a white tux with tails at the temple.  It is a fun tradition that started with Joe's dad and Uncles.

Marketing for "Johnson Family Dental"

I love this little car!  Our office manager drives this car around all over the place and it is such a good advertiser for "Johnson Family Dental's" three dental offices in Santa Barbara, Solvang and Ventura.  

Disneyland!

I had to add this picture of Tori!  She is my first "thumb sucker"!

We had such a great time down at Disneyland. Joe's brother Brett and his fiance were able to meet us in Downtown Disney for a quick visit. It was so fun to see them and my girls were especially thrilled. We can't wait for May 21st for their BIG wedding day!

The girls loved riding this "Jelly Fish" ride, but loved riding "Mulholland Madness" which is the roller coaster you can see in the background. Ashley would get so scared on the ride, but would want to get right back on and ride it again.

Had to add this last one because I just love to dress my three girls in the same outfit whenever possible! Joe also had on a purple dress shirt, but he didn't make the picture. I know how pathetic I sound, but it is just too cute!

Easter Dresses

I have to thank my Mom and Dad for these adorable Easter dresses my girls are wearing!

I feel so blessed and thank my lucky stars everyday for my three girls and my hubby!

Easter Weekend!

We were so lucky to be able to fly to Utah over Easter weekend. My brother Steve and his wife Angie have been fostering Caileigh for the past year and a half. With the adoption finalized, they were sealed together in the Salt Lake City Temple. It was one of the most amazing, spiritual, experiences I have ever been apart of! These pictures are all mixed up so I apologize! Below is the Easter Egg hunt we had when we returned back home to Santa Barbara!

Joe's brother Ryan brought his adorably handsome boys, Caleb and Mason, to the Easter Egg hunt we had in Utah.

During our stay, we took the girls and their cousins to the Aquarium! It was so much fun. The girls loved the touch tank and the sting rays.

We were so bummed we couldn't have stayed longer in Utah, but had so much fun in the couple of days we were there.

Ashley loved coloring Easter Eggs. She would have stayed at the table coloring all day if we would have let her.

Tori is now six months old and such a little (well, not so little) sweetheart! She is an amazing sleeper, eats like a champ, and keeps us all smiling!

March Happenings!

March isn't over yet, but I had to post some fun pictures that we have from the past couple of weeks.
Madison and Ashley are always asking if they can camp out or sleep on each other's bed. We always check on them before going to bed to see where they have ended up.

Ashley really adores her little sister Tori. She really is being nice to her in this picture!

Madison's kindergarten class gave out the assignment to make a Leprechaun Trap. We chose to make a Leprechaun Hat Trap. Hopefully the Leprechaun will be enticed by the rainbow ribbon, jewels, and climb the ladder to the gold and fall through our trap door. It was really fun to make with Madison and Ashley!

Ashley is so excited to start ballet. She wishes she could go every day! I'm really excited that she has something fun to do and it will now be Madison's turn to take a back seat and go and watch Ashley perform!

We also celebrated my Mom's 73rd birthday. I have the best Mom on earth and consider her my best friend too! I could call and talk to her about anything for hours. Love you Mom!

Madison has been taking a "Hip Hop" class and this was her performance at her school's Talent Show!
